Singapore Youth Festival Art Exhibition (Certificate of Special Mention & Recognition)

Our Art Club member, Wu Peishan Jocelyn (4B), received the Special Mention Award at the Singapore Youth Festival Art Exhibition. Nur Kaisah Zulaikha Binti Muhammad Zulfiqar (2-1) and Alexis Lua Xin Yi (4C) also received Certificates of Recognition for their artistic achievements.

Award-winning miniature mixed-media artwork titled A World in Miniature by Wu Peishan Jocelyn, recognized with a Certificate of Recognition (Special Mention). The artwork depicts a densely layered urban streetscape built from recycled and handcrafted materials, featuring stacked buildings, balconies, staircases, small storefronts, mechanical parts, colorful signs, lanterns, and decorative elements. Prominent colors include turquoise, grey, red, blue, and orange, with weathered textures creating the appearance of an aged neighborhood. The structure is highly detailed, with tiny architectural features and street-level scenes that evoke a vibrant, compact city environment.

The artwork depicts two figures with long flowing hair seated closely together in a warm, softly illuminated setting. One larger figure embraces a smaller figure, creating a protective and nurturing composition. Butterflies appear above the figures, while strands of hair curl around the scene, adding movement and depth. Rich shades of brown, amber, gold, and soft green create a dreamlike atmosphere. Additional details include a small plush toy in the lower right corner and a rectangular object resembling a mobile phone near the center.

The C Division Boys team put up a commendable fight, securing 4th place in League 1 after a series of spirited matches.

Basketball National School Games C Division - League 5 (Champions)

Our C Division boys had a great season, managing a double promotion moving up from Tier 6 to League 5 and eventually emerging as champions of the league.
